New Camp Hill School District superintendent works on goals for upcoming year
David Reeder on Aug. 15 attended his first Camp Hill School District Board of School Directors meeting as the districts new superintendent.
David Reeder, left, Camp Hill School District’s superintendent, with state Department of Education Secretary Ronald Tomalis. In his report to the board, Reeder, who was selected in June to fill the position vacated by the retirement of Connie Kindler, said he has been learning about the district, meeting staff and getting settled into his job.
Being the only male in the [administrative] building, along with pink curtains in my office, has been quite an adjustment, albeit a pleasant one, Reeder said with a laugh.
Reeder said he has been working with the districts leadership team to draft goals for the district and schools in instruction, curriculum, operations and community relations.
The goals were presented to staff on Aug. 25 and will be presented to the school board at the September meeting.
